2. Scope and source of data
The public version of dakajani.com is purely informational — it does not contain contact forms, login systems or user profiling analytics. Personal data is obtained directly from you when you contact us by e-mail (name, e-mail address and optionally company name, position, message content and any other data provided voluntarily in correspondence).
3. Purposes and legal basis of processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- responding to your inquiry and maintaining correspondence — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at the request of the data subject) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller in handling inquiries);
- conclusion and performance of a cooperation agreement — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- compliance with legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR;
- establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and ensuring the security of the website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Data retention period
Correspondence data is retained for the period necessary to reply and subsequently for the limitation period of any potential claims (no longer than 3 years from the last contact). Contract- and accounting-related data is retained for the period required by law (as a rule 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax obligation arose). Server logs — up to 12 months.
5. Recipients of data
Your data may be disclosed only to entities cooperating with us in the provision of services on our behalf, in particular: hosting and e-mail providers, accounting office, law firms, IT service providers — on the basis of data processing agreements. Data may also be disclosed to state authorities entitled to obtain it under applicable law.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
As a rule, personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area. Should such a transfer become necessary (e.g. in connection with cloud service providers), it will take place exclusively to countries offering an adequate level of protection or on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it,
- rectify (correct) your data,
- erase your data ("the right to be forgotten"),
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on the legitimate interest of the controller,
- withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal), where processing is based on consent,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

8. Voluntary provision of data
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to respond to your inquiry or to conclude and perform a cooperation agreement. Failure to provide the data will make contact or cooperation impossible.
9. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not take decisions on an automated basis, including profiling, as referred to in Art. 22 GDPR.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
The dakajani.com website does not use its own marketing or analytics cookies. Only technical browser mechanisms strictly necessary for the correct display of the site are used (loading of static assets: images, background video, the Ethnocentric font served from the same domain). We do not embed third-party trackers, advertising pixels or tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc. You can change your cookie preferences in your browser at any time.
11. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on servers located within the European Union. Standard server logs (IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, browser information) are processed exclusively for technical, diagnostic and security purposes on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
12. Changes to the privacy policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or organisational changes. The current version is always available at dakajani.com/en/privacy-policy.
